SYRO is a groundbreaking femme footwear line founded in 2016 by Henry Bae and Shaobo Han, two Asian-American, queer, and gender-nonconforming friends based in New York City. Frustrated by the lack of high heels for men and uncomfortable women's shoes, they took matters into their own hands to create a line of stylish, comfortable heels catered to queer men and non-binary individuals.
Beyond just selling shoes, SYRO aims to create a space where femme individuals can celebrate and empower each other, challenging traditional masculinity and promoting self-expression and confidence. Their fabulous shoe designs, including sports-inspired models challenging stereotypes, have garnered admiration and captured the essence of embracing one's authentic self and turning the streets into personal runways.
